London brewer and retailer Young’s has bought five tenanted pubs in Surrey – and
is planning three new riverside-managed pubs in London.
The Surrey pubs are part of the package of 205 Punch sites bought by property magnate Jack Petchey for £98m through his Save Investment Limited subsidiary.
Two of the pubs are in Dorking, with others in Epsom, Bletchingly, and Lingard.

Welcome to the blandification of England. With every town sporting the exact same chain stores/restaurants it becomes difficult to tell them apart. With the Young's purchase, you'll have to step outside the pub and look around in order to figure out which town you're in.
